Each participant will have the opportunity to connect through a 15-minute conversation with Mary Jane before the training. This is to offer customization for the training based upon previous experience, knowledge, learning styles and curiosities, and to recommend additional pre-reading as needed to optimally prepare for the training.

Mary Jane is the founder of Appreciative Pathways, LLC www.appreciativepathways.com. While still licensed as a clinical social worker, she has worked as a facilitator, trainer, and leadership coach for the past 12 years primarily within public education and non-profit agencies. Since 2010 she has used the framework of Appreciative Inquiry to guide organizations and their leaders to create positive change by discovering, analyzing, and building on the strengths of its people. Mary Jane holds an Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner Certification from the David Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry and is also a member of their Center's inaugural Council of Practice.
